Dr. Nizal Sarrafzadegan Honored as a Globally Recognized Leading Figure in Promoting Cardiac Health

TEHRAN — In recognition of National Doctor’s Day, a prominent ceremony titled “The Grand Conference of Iran’s Health Luminaries” was held on August 21, 2026. Organized by the Medical Council of Iran in collaboration with the Tehran Municipality, the event celebrated distinguished physicians at the Milad Tower conference hall, featuring public acknowledgments through billboards across Tehran.

The ceremony was graced by the presence and speeches of key figures, including Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian, President of Iran; Dr. Mohammad Reza Zafarghandi, Minister of Health, Treatment, and Medical Education; and Alireza Zakani, Mayor of Tehran. A distinguished assembly of physicians, pharmacists, nurses, and prominent health sector activists attended the event.
