Celebrating the World Heart Day 2025 in Isfahan- Iran

On the occasion of the World Heart Day (September 29), a full day special event aimed at promoting a healthy lifestyle and enhancing public awareness about heart health was held on September 29, 2025, in the historical Chaharbagh Abbasi Passage in Isfahan.

The event was organized by the Iranian Heart Foundation (IHF) in collaboration with the, Isfahan Cardiovascular Research Center (a WHO Collaborating Center), the Health Deputy of Isfahan University of Medical Sciences, Isfahan Municipality Health Culture Development Department, Heart Friends Association and Heart Friends Scientific Association.

The program included various activities like booths offering medical consultation, health screening, healthy nutrition education, children’s games and entertainment stations, as well as free services such as blood pressure measurement, specialist counseling, distribution of educational brochures, and engaging educational and recreational activities for children and teenagers.

Additionally, a follow-up event was held on October 3 at Mellat Park in Isfahan, attended by a group of distinguished cardiology professors, artists, entrepreneurs, associations, and the general public. The aim was to promote heart health awareness, prevent cardiovascular diseases, and encourage healthy living.

This event featured a variety of activities, including expert talks, blood pressure screening, heart health counseling, and cultural and educational programs for children and adults, all received an enthusiastic public response.

Such initiatives provide a valuable opportunity to raise awareness about preventive cardiology and emphasize the importance of cardiovascular health in the society.
