The workshop of Prevention, Diagnosis and Treatment of Hyperlipidemia with emphasis on familial hypercholesterolemia was held on 2 nd and 3 rd of October at Isfahan Cardiovascular Research Institute in Isfahan.

In the first selection of distinguished Professor of Isfahan University of Medical Sciences, Prof. Sarrafzadegan, Director of Isfahan Cardiovascular Research Institute, along with Dr. Mehdi Nematbakhsh and Dr. Mahin Hashemipour, were selected and introduced as Distinguished Professors of this university.

On Saturday, June 20, 2020, members of the Red Crescent Society for Treatment and Rehabilitation of Isfahan Province visited the Cardiac Rehabilitation Research Center.

Dr. Slim Slama, the Regional Adviser of the World Health Organization, Eastern Mediterranean Regional Office (EMRO), visited Isfahan Cardiovascular Research Institute on the 12th and 13th of October 2019.

During these two days, he visited the research centers, departments, and units of the institute, and he became closely familiar with the activities of Isfahan Cardiovascular institute. The WHO consultant pledged favorable cooperative program with the World Health Organization's collaborative centers.
